Count the Number of Pages in a PDF

Instantly check how many pages a PDF contains without opening it in a viewer. Useful for verifying document completeness, checking submission requirements, or scripting document processing pipelines.

How it works

1. Open a PDF from the drop area (click anywhere on it), drag-and-drop, or paste Ctrl+V (⌘V on Mac).
2. The page count appears instantly — use Copy number to paste into email or spreadsheets, or Another PDF to reset.

Tips for best results

• Nothing is uploaded: the file stays in your browser tab.
• Very large uploads are capped at 64 MB in the tool — split bigger PDFs first if needed.
• Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before counting; the tool never asks for your password.
